Seelie
Overview
The Seelie Court is the radiant and majestic ruling body of the Feywild, embodying the beauty, order, and wonder of the fey realm. Governed by Titania, Queen of the Seelie, alongside the enigmatic King Oberon, the court is a place of celebration, artistry, and political intrigue. The Seelie uphold the ideals of hospitality, honor, and courtly conduct, though their mercy is as fickle as the changing seasons. The Rule of Titania and Oberon
Titania is the current ruler of the Seelie Court, having gradually taken on more of the mantle from her consort, Oberon. Where Titania embodies grace, diplomacy, and the guiding hand of the Feywild, Oberon remains a wild and untamed force, a king in title but one who walks his own path. Their rule, though balanced, is not without strife, as Oberon’s unpredictable nature sometimes clashes with Titania’s desire for stability. Titania is the daughter of Maeve, the Queen of Thorns, who once reigned before the division of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. Unlike her sister Mab, the Queen of Air and Darkness, Titania seeks to maintain the harmony of the Feywild rather than rule through fear and manipulation. Though divided, Titania and Mab do not seek to destroy one another. Their bond, though cold, is still one of kinship, a love long buried beneath duty and conflict. The Nature of the Seelie Court
The Seelie Court is not purely benevolent—while they are champions of beauty and order, their ways are alien to mortals, and their sense of justice can be as cruel as it is poetic. To stand before the Seelie is to be subject to the weight of their laws, their whims, and their unbreakable oaths.Children of Titania and Oberon
The bloodline of Titania and Oberon is vast, and their children roam the Feywild as wandering princes, knights, and lost heirs. Some rule fey dominions of their own, while others drift through the realms, appearing as mysterious benefactors or mischievous interlopers in mortal affairs. Oberon, in particular, is known to have fathered children in the Material Plane, many of whom inherit a sliver of his fey majesty. Some of these mortal-born descendants become his warlocks, unknowingly bound to an ancient and capricious patron, while others awaken to their heritage in strange and unpredictable ways. Many of his children were stolen by Maeve in the Feywild war and turned into entities of war known as the Harbingers.
