Description

Rendall Thornshield is a grizzled human man in his sixties, with deep-set grey eyes and a face weathered from decades of caravan work. His salt-and-pepper hair is cropped short, and his bushy mustache dominates his stern expression. He wears well-worn leather armor marked with House Skatterhawk’s crest, a testament to his long service. A broad-bladed shortsword rests at his hip, and his left hand constantly adjusts the worn belt it hangs from - a nervous habit born from years of vigilance.

Personality

Rendall is gruff, no-nonsense, and pragmatic to a fault. He values discipline, experience, and practicality, and he has little patience for what he perceives as distractions or "softness." Unfortunately, his worldview includes a blatant disdain for women in his profession, whom he dismisses as liabilities. This prejudice isolates him from younger, more progressive guards, though he commands a grudging respect for his effectiveness and ability to handle dangerous situations.
