Elyza's Wake
“To sail the sky, you must first untether the weight of what you’ve buried.”
Overview
Elyza’s Wake is a heavily modified spelljamming vessel of hybrid design, combining the curved elven elegance of the Moondancer class with modular dwarven engineering and a jagged underdeck of Netherese origin based on plans obtained by Melkerech from a Netherese sorcerer. While it is capable of sailing between worlds via the Astral Sea, Elyza’s Wake most often traverses the skies of Faerûn, haunting the clouds above Cormyr, the Stormhorns, and the Stonelands like a drifting sentinel.Design & Features
-
Arcane Drive Core: Fuelled by a Mythallar fragment recovered from the ruins of Barrenstone. Enables limited time dilation and gravity field manipulation. It essentially creates ribbons of paused time where the ship cannot be affected by gravity to create motion.
Living Wood Hull: The outer frame is regrown via druidic rites from a Treant’s heartwood.
Defensive Runes: Glyphs of Warding and Warding Bond are permanently inscribed across the ship's bridge and crew quarters.
