Personal history

The Violet Throne

Raedra inherited the throne from her grandfather in CR-1035. His death was long expected due to old age, he lived to the age of 93 and with no male heirs the throne was to go to his next brothers oldest son. The king wanted Raedra to succeed him, against what the other lords of the realm expected, so she took control of the Purple Dragons and the Cormyrean Navy to hold the throne as her Grandfather wished.
After putting down 5 rebellions in as many years, Raedra has secured the throne. She has reopened the courts to the rebellious leaders, but not without assurances that they will remain in line from now on. If not, there is more than a title at stake for those who betray her.

Family Ties

Husband Duke Callet Grey mark (deceased). Killed in the the first rebellion in contest to her taking the throne.
Currently has no heirs to her throne, and many of the closer branches of her family are wondering if she plans to remarry and produce an heir at her age....

Wealth & Financial state

The Queen technically owns all of Cormyr and its Citizens holdings. The lands held by all Lord's and Ladies of the court are granted to them by hear pleasure. This includes all lands and deeds of her citizens in the Sword Cluster.
