Sword Sister Bond

This is an oath bond between two or more Alyite Order members. Sword sisters consider each other family and will fight side by side in battle. The oath is considered a long-term commitment of friendship and personal loyalty. Sword sister relationship are often, but not always romantic in nature. The relationship can be severed through mutual agreement. The bonds are typically severed because one of the members of the group gets married, leaves the active Order or other life circumstances make the commitment difficult to maintain. Associates can be sword sisters, but typically only do so with other Associates.
Swords sisters typically share quarters when at their garrison and camp together when in the field. They share food, chores and look after each other when ill or injured. Alyite leadership will generally make serious efforts to keep sword sisters together.

Execution

The bond is entered into by the participants swearing an oath to each other in the presence of an Alyite priestess and ritualy sharing a cup of wine with a drop of each woman's blood mixed in it.

Participants

The participants are two or more members of the Alyite Order.  It is not necessary for them to be active members of the Order merely Alyite Sisters.
