When the Dragon Gods first rose to power over our lands mortal kind welcomed them with open arms, |The following name is scratched out and illegible| was the most loved of them all. Peace fell over Corena for nearly a decade untill new commers came to our lands. Draconic races like the Kobold and Dragonborn, twisted entities name in the image of our great gods tainted our lands, the foolish of the Gods welcomed them with open arms thinking them great messengers from Dragons even older. However |Name scratched out| saw them for what they are, a test from the demons of the underplanes, but his words of warning fell on death ears the other gods ignored him and showered the false ones with gifts and powers, placing them as the heads of their churches and their followers. But |Name scratched out| refused, he told his followers the truth of the false ones and gave promise of rewards and prosperity to those who could eliminate them from their homes, communities and citys. The other gods, especially The Eternal grew angered by his actions so the Eternal abusing his powers stripped him of his god hood and left him to fall to earth. His followers watching their god fall swore an oath to the dragons who in turn avenged their master |name screatched out| naming themselves the Knights of Draconic Truth, and swearing to rid the False ones from their lands as long as they remained.Summary
When the dragon humanoids first arrived to Corena, they where welcomed as peopel with the blessings and love of the Dragon Gods. However while many of the Gods gave gifts and power to these people. A group of dragons look at them with distates and fear. How could these human like creatures dare take theri magic and abilitys. So the Knights of Draconic truth was formed in Order to hunt down and kill the dragonboen of the world.
Historical Basis
The Knights of Draconic turht is a large religion of the Corena reagion. Dragonborn, dragonkin and other Draconic based races are said to arrive in Corena from far off lands around 10-50 DE, and while many of the Dragon gods welcomed them with open arms. A subsect of them did not.
Draconic humanoids are said to try their best to avoid areas where the knights of draconic truth are located and if they must go to these areas to pray to the other dragon gods for protection and disguise.

The Origin of the Knights is very wide spread. It has split not only the continent of Corena but also the Dragon gods.
Variations & Mutation
The name of the original dragon Knight has long been lost to time as once the god started attacking Dragonborn he was stripped of his powers by Bekir The Eternal becoming mortal. Who this Dragon God was, and what title he held has changed greatly thru the years, many times the dragon is said to many of the more disgraced dragon gods like Aryon, Beast of War, Nelval, The Plagued one , Malrak, The Ravaged Wyrm, and Dasklanth, Mother of Monsters.
Cultural Reception
To the followers of The Knights, the myth is the core of their religion and their purpose. But to many of the surrounding cultures and to the Draconic races of Corena the myth is a reminder of those lost to the knights and the growing tensions between them and the rest of Corena.
In Art
There is alot of art of what the dragons who are apart of the Assembly of Draconic Truth look like, with many saying that the oldest and strongest of each draconic subclass (Gem,Chromatic,Metallic,Etc) gain membership. One of the most painted and famous of the Assembly Pellix is often depicted in religous art, or as old draconic tribe cave art. Usually as warning as he is seen as the most bloodthirsty of the Assemblys hunters.
