The Martin Collective

The Martin Collective is a family owned business that was passed down to Clyde and Claudine. Although most people consider Clyde as the owner, Claudine owns an equal portion of the business and contributes an equitable amount to what Clyde contributes. The business initially started as a paranormal detective agency, and due to its popularity, the brand grew over the past 40 years. The Martin Collective is now a standalone shop and office in downtown Terrahelm offering a wide array of magical products and services, including:

• Potions
• Divination services
• Necromancy
• Paranormal investigations
• Supplies for mages

Most notably, citizens of Terrahelm typically seek out paranormal investigation services from the Martin Collective. When a service is requested, it is typically scheduled with the client and the business will be temporarily closed until the investigation is complete. The only exception to this is a minor investigation that only requires one person to be off-site for a small period of time.
Of the services offered, Clyde handles all necromancy and Claudine handles all divination. The two equally share investigations, though most clients prefer to work with Clyde. The shop is usually open seven days a week during standard business hours, 9am to 5pm.
In addition to Clyde and Claudine as staff, Miles Lester will occasionally help with housekeeping and running the cash register. Clyde and Claudine always share their profits with volunteers that help out, which is usually just Miles.
As the landlord of their commercial space, Mark Thurman will occasionally make an appearance and spend quality time with Clyde and Claudine. He provides food and coffee, and typically keeps the store running when Clyde and Claudine take meal and restroom breaks. Mark never accepts his share of the profits, and instead offers a discount on rent in exchange for babysitting his daughter Daisy Thurman.
Daisy also occasionally appears in the shop after school. She always volunteers to do housekeeping. Claudine usually keeps her in the back storage room and gives her plenty of snacks and activities to keep her occupied.
