Lost with the death of the twins is a lens only hinted at in some of the documentation of their research. Nowhere do they mention what the lens is made from, only that the source is in Tal'dori. Numerous researchers have scoured for this material in the past few years, as it grants a form of true sight magnified to the user. Or at least that is the rumor. As this object is yet to be found, it is assumed to have been a design not yet developed, or stolen around the time of their deaths.
