It has long been rumored that the flares of the vermillion moon in the sky are linked to the increase in power, or innate arcane ability, in those individuals born during these times. As yet to be proven, we have set out with the intent to do a sociological experiment on the continent of Wildemount in the Dwendalian Empire with assistance from contacts at the local Cobalt Soul Archive in Rexxentrum. It is our hope to be able to travel to Xhoras and also conduct this research in the Kryn Dynasty as well.
It is our belief, that those born on days with the flare have an added flavor to arcane ability that cannot be taught. We hope to prove this by interviewing and testing subjects.
The Testing Phase
Conflict between the Dwendalian Empire and Kryn Dynasty is at a high, and those individuals who would be able to take us to the Kryn Dynasty safely, (i.e. Beauregard Lionett, and Caleb Widogast), are unavailable, thus our research will only be conducted throughout the Dwendalian Empire and Menagerie Coast as our safety cannot be guarenteed elsewhere.
Results
These tests are proving that our hypothesis seems to be true, though it affects individuals diferently with no logic we understand yet.
It is our hope to repeat these experiements in various locations throughout Marquet when we return.
