Upon approaching the
oasis, the party was immediately attacked by a
coral elemental from which three seashells were harvested once the fight was over. One of which the party failed to open. Located in the sand, a magical lamp was found that summoned
Al Shaheen, a powerful djinn.
Olzaran wished to know how to leave the island and the djinn invited the party into his tent, hinting at fulfilling their wish without making any promises. The party engaged in a chess-themed battle, answered riddles, struggled through a colorful puzzle and completed the encounter, fighting in an Arena.
With one final sentence "YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED!" Al Shaheen vanished along with all his possessions. Pok, Tayyib, Midos, and Merryn found themselves now wearing
shackles and the party noticed that Olzaran's pupils have transformed into small hourglasses filled with shimmering sand, marking the passage of time with each blink.
Meanwhile, Crawly chose not to enter the tent and spent the evening fishing, catching exactly two fish.
