Consigned to Oblivion: A Forgotten World In a world, where everyone forgor

In the future, people are affected by something known as the Forgotten were individuals, to groups of people, the the entire globe forget something, whether that be their name, their occupation, their skills, or even what language they speak. It originally starts something in the late 21st century, likely around the 2070s. Another part of the Forgotten is that it makes complex machinery and other modern (and future) creations collapse and break apart. The Forgotten has waves of when it is active but it is often localized to a certain area or region, and mountainous areas tend to be the least affected. The main setting is North America and will start with many of the US states electing their representatives and governors but they are confused as to why the ruler over all the states are gone (many have differing ideas to what the President is ( a king, a dictator, a group of people, or just one elected official)), eventually after many years without a higher power, they take matters into their own independent hands when dealing with disputes and rivalries.
