Personal history
Lucas was born in the Kingdom of Kusiyu, on an isolated island within the gulf that the kingdom surrounds – a place that has, over generations, become associated with a cursed elven family that supposedly feeds on the blood of the living.
As the younger twin, Lucas is often resentful of Ferryn trying to give advice or exert any control over him. The two grew up with a detached and neglectful father, who Lucas felt blamed them both for the death of their mother, his wife. When he mysteriously disappeared one day, the twins continued to live on the family property with their Uncle for a few years, until Lucas met an alchemist and inventor by the name of Kyth while on the Kusiyu mainland. Lucas followed Kyth with his invention, and thus Ferryn followed Lucas, away from their home and to the outskirts of the Luit and Diatross Kingdoms – to the Ahlignment where human Sages of Anym studied and practiced magic of all kinds. The trip didn't go according to plan at all and Ferryn ended up losing control in a way that altered the history of the world.
Lucas holds a lot of anger and blame towards Ferryn for what happened and often guilts them because he feels owed something in return, even all these years later. He feels the world is out to get him, and the only way to move forward is to fight back against the world in return.

He is deeply disturbed by the direction that King Damien is taking the Kingdom of Diatross, with his cruel actions and oppressive beliefs. Something should be done to stop him by any means necessary, or things will only get worse.

Ferryn is his twin sibling and the only person left he has in the world. Their mother died in childbirth, and their father mysteriously disappeared after spending decades neglecting them. The twins also have a despicable uncle still living at the family property in Kusiyu - one that they would rather prefer dead.

While he can generally be an unpleasant person to be around, when it suits him he will try to be more charming and amendable to others. He's much less extroverted and social than his twin Ferryn.

Frequently sounds frustrated and very serious, as if speaking through clenched teeth. Speaks in an almost formal way, which has relaxed over time and included a fair bit more swearing thanks to his twin, Ferryn.
