Tribal Overview
Human Tribes
Vikonia is vast and if you were to separate the races humans would be the more numerous. There was a boom of humans during the empire of Rhindhart. The monarch had wanted the northland as it held powers to be harnessed such as access to Dohamn and the possibilities of that which lay beneath the surface of Sud’ba lake. There is a monarch of Vikonia, ruling those that chose town and city life. The rule also extends to all folk of Vikonia, but it is so without expectation.
Then human tribes are loyal, mostly, to the monarch of Vikonia usually going by the title ‘Lumikarhu’ loosely translated to snow bear. Twice a year the tribes gather at certain Moots to receive gifts of resources and offers to take residence within the urban areas of Vikonia. Many of the tribes encourage their younglings to step forwards with reminders that the tundra will always be there for them to return to one day.
Dwarf Tribes
Historically many say the dwarves were the first race of Colossus, they were the race that brought druidism to the world. But it brought with it a danger of creatures of nature rebelling. The Clan of the No Beards were the protectors of the druids, chosen by Anvil themselves for such a task.
Elven Tribes (Follow Animism)
The origin of the elves is in the lands of the Vae Dynasty, this is pretty common knowledge. But like all races and cultures there are those that want more than the familiarity of home. They wish to seek the wonders of the world. It was the same for the Tonttu Blossom Clan in Vae. They left and travelled for a while until they came to the lands of Vikonia. The sprawling tundras, evergreen forests and the eternal presence of the ice capped mountains all captivated them immediately. They had found their new home.
The Tonttu have feathered wings with hair the colour you would associate with sky. Their skin tones and eye colour is often that of the earth. They embrace this elemental presence in their bloodlines.
Many families of the Tonttu Blossom wanted to go their separate ways, and so they did, forming tribes of their own. To simply breathe in the vastness of Vikonia.
Instead of the word tribe they use Tonttu as a prefix, to remind themselves of their history.
Dragonborn / Lizardfolk Tribes
TBD
Genasi Tribes
The genasi of Vikonia have a relationship with all others that shows in small doses. They essentially integrate with a tribe for a cycle of the year before moving on to another. There are times when the genasi tribes are camping solo. But not often. They mostly gravitate to those of an affinity with their own bloodline.
Feline Folk Tribes Humanoids of a feline nature to their bloodlines, passionate and energetic everyday of their lives on the Tundras. Some of the strongest stories are of the Feline Tribes. Great shamans, pathfinders, warriors and skalds can be found among their histories.
