Kith Lor Katana - aka The Blossom Blade

The Vae Dynasty is massive in terms of the history it is responsible for across the nation of Vae. The Dynasty was birthed towards the end of the Age of Gloaming, the Blossom Light being one of the supernatural disaster's that brought light back to the world.    During said disaster millions of blossom leaves took to the skies and hung their for a thousand years, like small scented snow flakes that never settled on the ground.    An artisan known as Kith Lor dedicated their life to studying the blossom leaves, seeing that they held the first light of blossom within each petal.   Kith Lor travelled the width and breadth of  Vae seeking out the mystics and druids that tended the life and magic of the Great Blossoms of Vae. Learned from them that each tree was a spirit on the world of Colossus.    Each with sentience, at least of a sort.    This fascinated Kith Lor whom now wanted to know the language they spoke. This is where the Light Whispers gave  tutorage as long as Kith Lor agreed to not to pass the knowledge on.    Giving their oath not to do so they spent years learning the language of the Blossoms. When there was no more to learn they approached every hanging blossom petal they could find and whispered a promise of greater light, of a place no darkness existed where each petal could be part of an eternal light.    But Kith Lor deceived them. This place of light was a forge, an arcanely crafted forge that carried the heat of ambition and glory.   Each blossom petal that followed was added to the forge, its light sparking among the molten iron. Kith Lor walked another century collecting petals. Adding them to the forge.   When satisfied, Kith Lor brought them together to forge a blade. A perfect blade, crafted with the light of the Blossoms, the last of the Gloaming Iron and the Light Whisperers magic.    The Blossoms shunned Kith Lor and creatures of betrayal were created, sent to hunt down Kith Lor. They became a outlaw, those of Vae could not support one who deceived the Great Blossoms.    Kith Lor ran and ran and ran. There was no where to hide and no one to hide behind. Kith Lor had chosen personal gain over that of the Light.    Eventually Kith Lor had to face their crime, but had decided to fight until the last of their blood flowed. Taking the Blossom Blade they fought foe after foe. Vae and monstrous creature alike. At first they fell away easily, the magic of the blade to potent.    Kith Lor grew hungry for more, instead of waiting for their hunters they went looking. Blood ran for many a passing season. The Great Blossoms had enough and each manifested an avatar that then faced Kith Lor.    Their battle broke mountains, stained storm clouds crimson, and cut oceans in half. But eventually Kith Lor fell. Their blood the final component in the creation of the Blossom Blade. Bind their spirit too it.    The Great Blossoms gifted the now named Kith Lor Blossom Blade to the Light Whisperers as a reminder that no matter the beauty of the light given by the Blossoms, darkness always followed closely.    The blade is taken all around Vae constantly, under guard of the Greater Clans. Each give prayer when it is with them. The law of Vae is no other shall wield it.
