SvoltFodd (S-vult-f-ah-d)

SvöltFödd is a town that exists despite itself. Chief Guh commissioned the town after the Ordening of Giants conquered the northern half of the Plains of Thunder, as she did not want to share her territory with the lesser ogres. The town struggles as it's soil is poor, rain is scarce, and the groundwater is fouled.         Currently the leader of the Ogres Shrensk the Odorous, has pledges his resources to Chief Barokir and Dorokir of Två should they make the decision to revolt against the Hill Giants In hopes that the resources from such a war could save his starving people.

Industry & Trade

Svöltfödd is on the brink of ruin for the ogres that populate the town. The ogres produce little crops, have trouble getting fresh water, and subsist from raiding the few human Hamlets still standing in the northern Plains. Even these meager resources are taken by their Hill Giant masters in Svöltfödd.

History

Svöltfödd was established when Chief Guh and the Warchiefs of the lesser giants were forced to Ómar Crún to launch their colonial campaign. Chief Guh holds a particular disdain for the Ogres, thinking of them as a bastardized imitation of the Hill Giant people. For this she gave them the territory that was the least established prior to their arrival, a territory that holds weak soil, fouled groundwater, and little aid in their survival.
