Incendies

Incendies is a city made of iron and stone, where the bird Lords forges burn hot, using the heat from Jean-Renaître the Elder Phoenix to fuel them. the city is built on and around Mount Incendies, an active volcano that contains Jean-Renaître and his chains.              The Parrot Aarakocra run this place as skilled craftsman and fierce protectors of their territory in tandem with their Firenewt allies who are native to the area and small kobold who act as caravaneers and discreet messengers for the Aarokocra.          The Forges of Incendies fuel the entire military force of The Elder Bird's armies, molding resources they've received from Grand Nid into eloquent, lightweight weapons and armor. As a consequence of this, The Forgotten Feather had begun its aggressive revolutionary actions against the city, most recently blowing up a titanic statue of Jean-Renaître from before his resurrection, while razing the lower city below, guillotining local leaders, and salting the fields. Rebuilding efforts are estimated to take months and even then the city may never regain the power it once held.

Government

Previously, day to day operations were overseen by the Guardians of Nid, but after the recent battle with the Forgotten Feather, the Incendies council was guillotined. Now the Elder Phoenix takes absolute rule over the city.

Districts

• The Core district- Holds Jean-Renaître's chamber and the homes of the Firenewts that serve him.
• The Ash District- Holds the homes of high priests of Nid and Parrot Aarocokra war heroes.
• The Crust District- contains the homes of the common Aarocokra and soldiers. Also holds the forges.
• The Memorial District- contains the scattered rebuilding homes of local lizardfolk tribes and their farms. As well as graveyards and memorial sites for the battle against The Forgotten Feather that previously left this section of the city razed and destroyed. Also holds the remnants of a titanic statue of Jean-Renaître that was blown up with explosives during the attacks.

History

The city erupted from the ground along with the Volcano its built into. After Jean-Renaître the Elder Parrot was killed by the Lord's of Dread during the Age of Platinum, King Tais offered to use the power of the Crown of Law to bring him back to life if the Elder Birds would join The Crown. When King Tais rose Jean-Renaître with him arose a massive volcano, with a city crafted within its stonework.
