Yggdrasil

Yggdrasil — the world tree — is a massive tree. It has three massive roots sticking out of it and plunging into the ground, each of which is bigger than a city bus. The tree itself seems to get even bigger as you get closer. Eyeballing it, you could easily fit a city skyscraper inside of it. It extends far up into the heavens, and it’s canopy seems to be an infinite number of branches extending out seemingly forever.
There’s a large blotch, a few dozen feet up from its base.
