Suzhen

Suzhen is a tall lithe woman with green eyes and shoulder-length dark brown hair. Because of her species, Suzhen was an outcast so often had to resort to stealing from villagers to survive. She rescued a young Tukka, Kayame and the two became best friends. They were caught by the Shongu, Zian with whom she fell in love and married. He came up with a plan where they would often make a living scamming villages. Eventually they were caught and taken away by Kyunnai.
The story starts with her in a coma in the Chamber of the Sleepers in Nidhol. She has been in a coma for 52 years though she still looks 22. When she awakens she finds that Kayame awoke 5 years ago and has disappeared, and Zian has not woken. She spends a lot of time at his bedside talking to his sleeping body.
