Desolation of Imphalas

Devastating war that turned much of the world of Imphalas into a harsh wasteland.
It was initially a rebellion by the Themuat Scholacy against the cruel ruling Tharaoh Dominion. The war lasted nearly 300 years, and pitted great war machines created by the Themuat Scholacy against the powerful magics of the Tharaoh Sorcerers. Less than 5% of the population survived, most of the landscape was left barren wastelands, inhabited by rogue Jholem (autonomous war machines), and dangerous wildlife.
There was no winner in this war. Both sides destroyed each other and devastated the world.
