Session Twelve
General Summary
Alice met up with Willow in a park to tell her that she had killed Anders. They messaged Leah and Justin about what had happened, agreeing to meet up later in The Local.
Before they met up, Alice and Willow had a look around Gronk's Shiney Things. Willow finds some tangled amulets, however when she looked away and came back to them, they had disappeared. Alice attempted to buy a black scale but upon failing to have stuff to trade, she offered her services (assasination/kidnapping) to which Gronk chased her off.
After that, the pair look around the Goblin Market and decide to go into Toil and Trouble that at first glance looked like a wiccan shop with cloaks and brooms. After stepping in they were greeted by the Witch at the counter. Willow enquired about books relating to fae and also forbidden magic unseen for centuries. The old lady asked what Willow had to trade and when Willow asked what kind of thing she took as trade, the witch examined Willow's hand and said Willow has a great deal of power. She seems interested in Willow.
After examining her, the witch brought out the following things from the back:
a book titled 'Interactions with the Fae'
a book titled 'Faerie magic'
something (possibly a book) wrapped in leather that she said was Forbidden Ancient Knowledge
A small chest, inside which were braclets, a necklace and some rings
Alice hears a voice in her head, promising her power. After asking it's name and it saying it didn't have one, Alice named it Freddie. Freddie wanted Alice to take it away with her but he appeared to be in the back room, which was staff only. Alice peeked her head into the backroom, seeing an altar and smelling blood in there. However, the Witch told Alice to get away from the back room so she did.
The witch offered Willow a silver ring (knot work), a silver bracelet with some stones set into it and a book (interactions with the fae) for £50 and the promise that she'll come back. Willow agreed. As they left the shop, Freddie was pleading with Alice not to leave him there.
When Leah and Justin were walking to The Local someone slammed into Justin, gave him a Satchel and immediately ran off. Justin glanced in the the bag to see a haphazard mess of paper and photos, then decided to chase the man. They chase out after the man for a bit but he loses them. Heading back to where we first encountered him, there were lots of recent cigarettes(about 15) and a fresh underground ticket bought at a station in Walford Forest.
Finally getting to The Local, Justin properly looked through the Satchel. In the bag he finds5 wads of money - 2 stacks of hundreds, 1 stack of 50s and 1 stack of 20s (£14500)
2 bits of stone/rock/glass, one looks like granite, dark and smarkly and looks like there is something in it. The other is volcanic glass that also looks like there is something inside it.
a mess of photos - all show people and locations, 2 photos are clearly depicting Cindermen, logo of a company, news reports, people with packs
a small pickaxe/scythe (the handle has been broken and there are engravings on the handle)
