A large city based somewhere in what was once the United States. Often called the 'Circle City', it is made up of three circular 'rings', each sitting lower then the one before it, starting from the center. Large, imposing walls prevent most people inside from seeing out of the city limits, though the insides of the walls appear to have been painted with 'landscape style murals' to make up for it.
The outer ring is mostly industry and 'labor intensive' jobs, such as resource processing and construction companies. There are a few high buildings that reach just over the top of the wall, though it's dangerous to be that high up, as most of these buildings are old. There is a large section in the northern part of the ring dedicated to apartment buildings and 'mining houses', occupied exclusively by Electricals. Farms are also located in this ring.
The middle ring is smaller, but with nicer upkeep. Half of the ring is dedicated to housing, with rows of small, identical houses meant for a family of three, with small back yards. These houses are primarily occupied by Humans, though there's a handful of Electrical residents as well. The other half of the ring is dedicated to 'general living' facilities, such as shops, schools, 'public service' buildings, etc.
The center ring is the smallest, but by far the cleanest and the most well-maintained.  A large tower sits in the middle, the top of it rising far higher than the outer walls of the city.  On the ground, the ring is taken up mostly by 'government' facilities, such as the Orphanage, the Assignment facility, and the Re-Assignment facility.  There is a small section dedicated to housing, a bit larger than the ones in the middle ring and with grander yards.  These are occupied exclusively by the city's governing bodies and general 'elite'.
