Bringers

Bringers are neutral sentient escorts of mortals as they die and are to be led to the afterlife. Some believe they serve Necronnia, God of Death , others that they are independent beings bringing balance and order to the realms.   They are worshipped by few, but have still become synonymous with the domain of the grave. It is unclear whether there is a leader, if they are like a hive mind, or they are in truth just many independent creatures; making it a questionable whether they can really be counted as a deity. Still, with few answers coming from the religion of the grave, people have taken to praying directly to the bringers when they lose a loved one.   Common rituals include placing a trail of lights to the grave, believes to show the bringer the way. Some also believe that gifts of material riches will make the bringers prioritize bringing the lost soul to a good place. There are only very few true worshippers, and many confuse them with the worshippers of Necronnia, God of Death , even though their methods vary greatly.   It is unknown how many Bringers exist.
