Helfiend

Anatomy

Helfiends are regarded as just above woemongrels within the heirarchy of the Dismal Plane and have fuller more robust forms than their mongrel cousins. The helfiend is often bipedal and often quite muscular in appearance. While they share a silloute with mortalkind, Helfiends will often have appendages and addons which resemble those of a beast, such as claws, tails and even horns. There have been records of the heads of Helfiends being replaced entirely with the skull of an animal, reanimated by the creativity of Dis. Their legs are also usually beastial in nature usually being bovine but there have also been descriptions of bird-legged and snake-tailed helfiends.

Behaviour

While most helfiends are little more than animals they do have an intellegence about them, weilding weapons and armor comes naturally to the helfiend, but some are even able to communicate. Through all the Dismal plane, you will only find helfiends willfully engaging in any form of community. However, the Tyrant-God receives this as a challenge and often sends the worst of his ranks to remind these helfiends of their place.
