Crimes Against the Noble Houses or the Crown

 
  • Assaulting a Noble:
    • Crime: Assaulting a member of the nobility.
    • Punishment: Exile from Stonegard or imprisonment for up to 10 years. Fines up to 10,000 gold.
  • Theft or Destruction of Noble Property:
    • Crime: Theft or destruction of property owned by a noble.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 5 years, plus restitution equal to double the property’s value.
  • Treason or Plotting Against the Crown:
    • Crime: Engaging in treasonous activities against the crown.
    • Punishment: Public execution or life imprisonment. All assets are seized by the crown.
  • Slander or Defamation of a Noble:
    • Crime: Slandering or defaming a noble’s character.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 1 year and a 1,000 gold fine. Repeat offenses may lead to exile.
  • Refusal to Pay Noble Taxes or Tithes:
    • Crime: Failing to pay taxes owed to the nobility.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment until debt is paid, or the seizure of property to cover owed amounts.
 

Crimes Against the City

 
  • Sabotaging City Defenses or Infrastructure:
    • Crime: Sabotaging city defenses or key infrastructure.
    • Punishment: Immediate execution or life imprisonment.
  • Unlawful Entry or Trespassing into Restricted Areas:
    • Crime: Entering restricted areas without permission.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 3 years, with possible corporal punishment for multiple offenses.
  • Bribery or Corruption of City Officials:
    • Crime: Attempting to bribe or corrupt officials.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 5 years and a fine of 5,000 gold.
  • Arson within City Limits:
    • Crime: Intentionally setting fire to property.
    • Punishment: Public execution for endangering the populace, or life imprisonment if loss of life occurs.
  • Operating Unlicensed Businesses:
    • Crime: Running a business without the necessary licenses.
    • Punishment: Closure of business, 500 gold fine, and up to 6 months of imprisonment.
   

Crimes Against the Gods

 
  • Desecration of Religious Sites:
    • Crime: Damaging or desecrating places of worship.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for 5-10 years and a public flogging.
  • Blasphemy Against Any Deity:
    • Crime: Speaking against the deities of Stonegard.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 1 year and a 500 gold fine.
  • Blasphemy Against Luthos (Goddess of Divinity):
    • Crime: Blaspheming the goddess Luthos.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 5 years and a 2,000 gold fine. Public humiliation or corporal punishment may be administered.
  • Failure to Pay Temple Tithes:
    • Crime: Not fulfilling tithes to the temple.
    • Punishment: Seizure of assets equivalent to owed tithes, and a 50 gold fine for each offense.
  • Interfering with a Priest or Worship Ceremony:
    • Crime: Disturbing a priest or religious ceremony.
    • Punishment: 1-2 years imprisonment, with a 100 gold fine.
   

Crimes Against Citizens

 
  • Murder:
    • Crime: Killing another person.
    • Punishment: Execution or life imprisonment. All assets may be seized.
  • Theft:
    • Crime: Stealing property belonging to another.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for 1-5 years, depending on value stolen, and restitution of double the stolen amount.
  • Assault:
    • Crime: Physically attacking another person.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 3 years, or public flogging for minor injuries. Repeat offenses lead to increased sentences.
  • Kidnapping:
    • Crime: Illegally taking or holding another person against their will.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 10 years and public flogging

    • Crime: Dragonborn holding high-ranking or influential positions within government or military.
    • Punishment: Immediate dismissal, 500 gold fine, and blacklisting from similar jobs. Repeat offenses: six-month imprisonment.

    • Punishment: Immediate detainment, 100 gold fine, and public warning. Repeat offenses: imprisonment or increased restrictions.
  • Association with Criminals:
    • Crime: Dragonborn associating with known criminals or dissidents.
    • Punishment: Imprisonment for up to 1 year and a 1,000 gold fine. Families face increased scrutiny.
  • Public Displays of Power:
    • Crime: Dragonborn using draconic powers in public.
    • Punishment: Public flogging, 200 gold fine, and formal warning. Repeat offenses lead to imprisonment or forced relocation.
  • Unlawful Magic Use:
    • Crime: Using magic without permission or inappropriately.
    • Punishment: Confiscation of magical items, 5 years of imprisonment, and a 1,000 gold fine.
  • Property Ownership Limits:
    • Crime: Dragonborn purchasing property in noble or high-value areas.
    • Punishment: Confiscation of property, 500 gold fine, and forced relocation. Repeat offenses lead to permanent property bans.
  • Assemblies and Gatherings:
    • Crime: Dragonborn gathering in groups larger than 10 without approval.
    • Punishment: Detainment for questioning and dispersal of the group. Repeat offenses lead to forced exile.
  • Speaking Draconic in Public:
    • Crime: Speaking Draconic in public spaces.
    • Punishment: 100 gold fine and a public reprimand. Repeat offenses lead to imprisonment for up to 6 months.
