Cilldyria

Cilldyria is the name for a fantasy world that I have worked on since about 2007. The progress has been inconsistent to say the least, and basically non existant for long periods of time. It began as a way for me to just write down some ideas I had that sounded cool. Some which were inspired by various games and movies that I enjoyed.   At times the things I wrote down were ideas for games that I wish that I could make. But the world did not have any sort of shape until about 2013 I think, when I decided that I wanted to write a book in a fantasy setting. And so I began carving away at world building.   The world however saw much more progress as I started up a rollplaying campaign with friends and familiar faces in the mid 2016s. Since I had established some lore and some early stages of a setting I decided that this would be a wonderful way of not only getting the creative juices flowing, but to be pushed and pulled in ways which could make a more livable and believable world.   Cilldyria itself is largely unfinished as the creator is sadly afflicted by perfectionism.   Cilldyria at its deepest core is still a comingling of things I think are awesome. Influences are varied and many; books, games, movies and tvshows, anime, and even dreams I have had.   In general, it could be described as an expansive high fantasy setting with some predictable and hopefully unpredictable twists and turns.
