    Diaspora of the Remnant - Finding the Steppes
    Population Migration / Travel

    Shortly after "The Sundering" many diverse people groupes began to find their way to the Flooded Steppes.

    The Thundering Tension
    Military: War

    A long running war of sorts between the Khangai, Kullik, and Urtu. Much of this war was cold, but the tribes remained actively hostile towards each other after The Battle of Hooves

    The Battle of Hooves
    Military: Battle

    The Kullik, Khangai, and Urtu fought a bloody skirmish over rich river lands in the east of the Flooded Steppes.   This event led to the Thundering Tension, years of tension and skirmishes between the three bordering tribes

    Torgut Receives Traders from Brine Sea
    Financial Event

    Traders crossing the Brine Sea make contact with the hunters of Torgut and establish a trade route.

    Foreign landing at Khangai

    Explorers venture further east of the Torgut and land in Khangai lands.

    Khangai drive out Foreign "Invaders"
    Military: Skirmish

    The Khangai make contact with explorers survey the land and drive them out with a light skirmish, making it clear their borders are closed.

    War of Fur and Scales
    Military: War

    The Borjigin and the Torgut tribes waged war over bordering lands.

    Alagh Arat Alliance
    Political event

    "The First Treaty" when the Salar and Torgut tribes became allies under the name Alagh Arat

    Yid Purin Treaty
    Political event

    The Yid Purin Alliance was formed by the Borjigin and the Olkhon. Much of this treatise was born out of shared religious ties to the Two Dragons.

    Urtu Joins the Alagh Arat
    Political event

    The Urtu joins the Aragh Arat after watching uneasy peace grow between the Yid Purin and Alagh Arat. The people of Urtu negotiate inclusion to the Alagh Arat as immediate neighbors of the Salar.   Alongside joining the Aragh Arat, the Urtu sent missive to the Khangai and Kullik that they would no longer vie for the contested land so long as their sacred lands remained untouched.   Combined with the threat of their new allies, this succesfully separated the Urtu from the Thundering Tension

    The Year of Many Floods
    Disaster / Destruction

    The western region of the Flooded Steppes suffered extreme flooding at erratic times, aggravated by coinciding Terpischore and Thalia Weave Storms.   This year of flooding lead to the dissolution of tension between the Alagh Arat and the Yid Purin in as they found need to band together for any to survive.

    The First Congregation of the Steppes
    Gathering / Conference

    During the Year of Great Floods, the Alagh Arat and Yid Purin agreed to peace and gathered their resources together in the safe lands of Salar at the southern base of the mountain.   This would soon lead to the founding of The Heart of the Steppes

    Founding of Alagh Yid Federation
    Founding

    Twenty-two years after the Alagh Arat Treaty, which had since added the Urtu. The Alagh Arat joined with the Yid Purin to form the Alagh Yid Federation.   It was at this time that The First Congregation established The Heart of the Steppes

    The East Gnoll War
    Military: War

    Invading Gnolls enter Kullik lands from the east en masse, driving the Kullik closer toward Urtu and Khangai lands.

    The war drove the Kullik to join the Aragh Yid, and with the Federation might drove the Gnoll out of the Flooded Steppes

    The Kullik Join the Aragh Yid
    Political event

    Kullik seek help to hold off invaders from the Eastern border. Choosing to rally along the enemy they know, rather than the invading goblins, the Urtu push for the Alagh Yid to accept the Kullik

    The Khangai join the Aragh Yid
    Political event

    Khangai driven to join the Alagh Yid as young Khangai Tribal leadership chooses the wealth of the Federation over old grudges.
