The Pact of Spirits

The pack of spirits is the bond of material beings with spiritual beings. Through this spirit magic is possible. Through this the rules of reality is bent just a little. The two races known as the Deminor and Presari are the only races capable of harnessing this power thanks both to their ability to store and manipulate essence naturally and the pact made with the spirits. History says that the hero Talion and Zavian met one of the first great spirits. This spirit gave them a challenge they performed to gain the first pact.

Now the pact is the most important thing for these races. Without proper pact individuals of these races would be seen as lesser as they could never harness essence the way it should be. It is believed that any being with a great amount of power can create a pact. Most pacts take the form of a mark or an object that represents the pact. Without these, the user can harness the power they gained from the pact.
