The Lady of the Lost

The lady of the lost is the tale told amongst the different races to keep their kids in line. The tale is of an old giant woman who would stalk the night seeking the young and anything she would find interesting that was out too late. This woman would take them away in a large brown box to her home far in the mountains. There the kids would live out the day serving her and working for her. Never to see the family again. Some say when the kids get too old she fattens them up and makes a pie out them.   This tale has given me many a problem when I was young. Being an orphan trying to survive off the street had you out at all kinds of night. Luckily I never saw some large woman walking around. How big would she have to be to put you on her box? I doubt a woman that big could walk through the city without stepping on something. - Ace Cardia
