The Battle of the Forsaken Hills

The battle that changed everything. Many don't know much about this battle as it was buried by those in power. This was the battle that a war between the alliance and the empire was met with a third party. The sins of both sides came to the forefront as the dead rose again. Lead by the cult of the fallen who wanted revenge for the murder of the last voice of the fallen. A group that once shepherd people through their grief and promise peace beyond the grave, now the bringers of destruction.
Those who survived this battle would be key to the peace that would be made between the alliance and the empire. Not for the betterment of all, or a need for understanding as they told everyone.
