Prompt 8: Bidged Leb

A Bidged Leb (Storm Essence) or Essence Storm is a weather phenomenon that occurs when a large level of active essence builds up. Most essence storms build up near great battlefields are where conflicting great spirits actively but heads. This can also occur very commonly near opened leylines that spew out lots of essence into the world. One of the side effects of using an elemental generator is the fact that it can cause high levels of elementally charged essence to build up in an area. Making it possible for a Bidged Leb to form.
The Effects of a Bidged Leb is dependent on the type of essence that it absorbed. Example if a large amount of fire is essence is absorbed it can become a massive fire storm that burns all it can touch. While Ice can lead to everything becoming frozen solid. Though elements like earth can shatter the very ground you walk upon. Though some would not call this a storm.
Salire has been faced with a number of Bidged Lebs thanks to their elemental generator and their nearness to a ley line. Over time the figured out how to survive it as they have found better ways to regulate the generator and safely transfer its effect over large areas. This leaves most of the Bddged Lebs occurring near Grenith Mountain where a supposed Ice Spirit is said to dwell.

Manifestation

Those sensitive to essence tend to be the first to sense it. Feeling all the essence in an area being sucked away. Any and all magic being fizzled out as the essence is drawn away from them. Then the foreboding feeling of large amounts of essence building in the distance. Then a light in the distance forms causing all to see as the clouds form around this light. As time passes the light grows and energy shoots out from it. Waves of wing and energy shoots out spreading across the land. Any still foolish enough to be out will fell the full effect of the storm when the light explodes out bring forth some form of devastation over an area.
