Prompt 33: Shadows Signs

Shadow signs is a sign language designed for thief's and assassins to communicate where they need to be silent. A modified version of sign language designed to use coded signs to not lead to others knowing what is going on. This sign language key features is how simple it is to communicate. It even has ways to communicate with taps upon some ones body in case their up close.
Shadow Signs were first created by a Fenrian who once served the Lord of Chaos. In order for her to be a perfect scout and assassin her voice was purposely damaged in order for her to never speak secrets or make a noise. Because of this she had no way to communicate at first until she was taught sign language. Once she mastered it she began work on creating a unique version of it to teach those who would walk in the shadow and forgo their ability to speak.
Once the fall occurred she still maintained it to be taught to those working in the shadow. Though most individuals no longer removed their ability to communicate through voice. Only choosing to follow a vow of silence while working.
Over time different versions of Shadow Signs have been created to allow for different groups to communicate amongst their own with out their info being discovered. Though knowing enough of the original to communicate with other shadows.

Those who walk in the shadow take a vow of silence in order to better hide in the dark. Though they have their ways to communicate with others both to those who walk the dark and those who's been touched by it. Not many can tell if they looking at someone using the shadow signs, those who can may wish they hadn't as they may pick up on the shadow that lies in wait to strike before they can act. - Unknown
