Prompt 31: Modified Saliren Carriage

The Modified Saliren Carriage is modified to survive across the frozen waste. Designed to be pulled by well trained Ice hounds rather than horses who can't handle the cold of the frozen waste. Thanks to the design based on sleds with mountable wheels. This carriage can be altered for traversing the icy waste or the city streets. This is very important means of transporting goods as with out it the worker and hunter camps would be unable to transport goods to the city.
The carriage was designed by Remy Smith during her early years as she was beginning the process of reinventing how we mine and transport ore. Her simple designs and modifications made it quick to implement these wagons and begin the process of expanding the cities tradable territory. Now not depending on a bunch of people using ice hounds to deliver goods with a few redesigns it allowed for one carriage to do the work of a bunch of sleds.
Thanks to the carriage the use of Ice Hounds have become common enough for many to be around the city at times. Some even getting a chance to be guard dogs and such. Though most are focused on the transport of goods and the protection of such goods. This made people more calm around them and not to see them as dangerous wild animals.

Propulsion

Ice hounds act as propulsion for the carriage. Pulling the carriage across the frozen waste. In the city wheels allow for less ice hounds to pull the cart around as not as many are needed.

Weapons & Armament

For defensive purposes a mounted cross bow or gun placement can be added. Allowing for the carriage driver to fend off attacks from wild beasts. Luckily the frozen waste aren't besieged by any outlaw threats in ice waste. Even if their may be a criminal element in the city.
