Prompt 30: The Grand Aurora

The Grand Aurora is an Aurora that spans the entire Northern part of the Main Content. This beautiful display last an entire week and many celebrate it for its beauty. With festivals taken place or rituals performed to honor it. It doesn't seem to have any real effect on the world. So far their hasn't been any proof of anything special about it, but many still feel drawn to it for some reason.
The Grand Festival held in the Presari Empire is held when ever its time for the aurora to appear. A celebration of beauty and colors that is shown off in art and music. This festival is even done in the city of Salire even if they don't understand the significance to the Presari. They celebrate it because it has ties to Zavian reclaiming the Cathdral City.

The Grand Aurora existed long before the Lazari. During the time when only dragons and spirits roamed the land. It was their to see the rise and fall of an empire. To see that empires children squabble of the rubble left behind. It watched as people survive the harshness of the frigid cold. It watched as the Presari manipulated the elements. It was there when humans settles in the frozen waste. It will still watch as all that crumbles to dust for something else to takes its place.

Manifestation

An aurora in the sky that shows many interesting colors. Said to show all the colors that exist upon the sky. This effect seems to be occur cause of the many forces of the world of Unsu. Though no one is sure if its a magical effect or a natural force that brings about the grand aurora.

Localization

The Aurora occurs only in the northern territories of the main content. No one is sure if it's because of how close to the top of the world it is or if it's an effect from the essence that fills the air here thanks to the elemental generators. One belief is that the aurora stays to the north thanks to the essence used to make part of the land sutible to survive. Others say it stays up here because those of the north are worthy of its beauty.
