Elemental Poker

Elemental Poker is a card game played a lot in the saloons of the edge. It started in the city of salire deep in the empire. A game made by humans to pass their time and wager their money. There have been many fools that have gambled everything away because they thought they had a good hand. Only to lose when a player plays a set of cards with an elemental advantage.   It's an interesting game where you have to try to get a higher numbered card as well as an element that has an advantage over your opponent's hand. It's complicated but fun. It involves luck and a bit of skill when it comes to bluffing. -Ace Cardia

History

Elemental Poker was created by humans from the city of Salire. They created the game as a way to honor the presari beliefs on the elemental balances and as a means to have a fun way to pass their time. It would be years later that it would grow to become something played by all. Sadly it would become tainted by greed as people started to bet on their hands hoping to make some easy money. Sadly there always has to be a loser in games of chance.   When the great migration occurred the game would find a home in the edge where other races would find interest in the card game. Nowadays you can find fenrians and maulins wagering their money away over a few good drinks.

Execution

Each player draws a card until they have three cards. Then they take turns drawing cards and increasing their bet, Each preceding player has to either match the bet, go higher, or fold. Once everyone has six cards they get one more chance to raise their bets or fold. They each take turns revealing their cards. The total amount of their cards is added up and the one with the highest number but best elemental advantage wins.
