Arctur Tertius

Arctur Tertius is a blue-ish gas giant with a diameter of roughly 120.000 km. It is the second outermost planet of the Arctur-System and is orbited by many moons as well as mining stations. The planets appearance is defined through it's coloured bands, which are a result of its turbulent atmospheric systems.
Regardless of the atmosphere's turbulences and storms, extracting its hydrogen is a highly profitable business. Many extraction and refining facilities skim the atmospheres higher layers, both sanctioned and illegal.

Natural Resources

The planets only resource is also its defining feature: Enormous amounts of gas. Due to its atmosphere mainly consisting of hydrogen, it is heavily mined and refined for use as highly efficient reactor fuel. Especially the Mechanicus of Arcturia import huge amounts of hydrogen fuel for its Arcturia-Pattern Plasma Reactors.
