Worldwide Diver's Association

Rising to become the leading authority on Doors and Divers, the Worldwide Diver's Association or more commonly referred to as the 'WDA', is an organization that was founded by scientists and archaeologists in their attempt to understand ancient and once thought to be lost relics. This organization has effectively become great enough to influence world decisions when it came to anything pertaining to magic and the Doors and Divers that appear because of it. Though as it does exist outside of the various Governments that might wish to control its many resources, it actively works with them to secure a place for its own Guildhalls and research facilities to be able to assist the population with security measures and manpower through the registry of Divers and understanding of magical phenomena.

Public Agenda

"Understanding what is happening to our world is key to how we make strides into the future." -Richard Odea Archaeologist and member of the original research team that founded the WDA. Having a wish to understand and expand upon the changing world, the WDA seeks to use it knowledge and resources to find ways to develop upon the new populace of Divers so that Humanity as a whole can be protected and preserved in case an unprecedented event like the Tower Bridge Opening can be dealt with minimal losses.

History

While at first all that was found was theory and fantastical assumption but as a new energy source was discovered to emanate from these relics and the appearance of Doors, theory became fact and the group moved quickly to study this energy and how it affected the relics and other people. The findings from the projects that were created cemented the discovery of mana and magical items that were many of the relics found from times past. This accumulation of knowledge grew quickly as Doors appeared and soon Divers to confront them. Much of the information they found to be true was sought out by various governments as their land and people were struck by fear by the First Opening in London.

The WDA uses Coral as a currency, a form of credit based currency stored as information with Diver's Coral. Credit is earned and spent through the WDA while they translate expenses into real life currency for ease of use by their Divers.
