Diver's Hall
One of the larger structures in New Haven, Diver's Hall is situated in the city's center as its most prized place of celebration. Most of the news concerning the WDA and or New Haven is conducted in front of this building's marble stairs leading through the large ornate gate that precedes the man made park that provides a small barrier between the rest of the city and the Hall rising above it. The sleek and ornate building opens into a large lobby with many busy persons going about their daily duties, moving around the small obelisk that stands in the center. Looking up from this entrance is a network of offices and meeting rooms, its more fanciful steel and glass work connecting it all openly.
Purpose / Function
Being the main building for the WDA, the Diver's Hall is where general administration and licensing for new Divers living in New Haven is conducted. It is a well known place around the world for it being the location for its facilities in accurately gauging a prospective Diver's abilities and potential in revaluations. As the center structure of the WDA, this is also a place to hold meetings for world leaders as well as guild masters.
History
As one of the very first structures built on the floating city, Diver's Hall has long since been torn down and rebuilt several times to accommodate the growing popularity of Diver's and their guilds. This place has shown to be the very center of the Diver's world, showing to be a place most suited for the discussions between world leaders and the various guilds created by Divers. From these meetings come about new laws and agreements, one so shaping how the world interacts with Divers as a whole, the New Haven Accords, an agreement creating the free city of New Haven to be for the Divers and under the influence of the WDA solely.
