S-3 Echolyft

The S-3 Echolyft is the third version of itself, a new type of aircraft with the mission to search for anomalies in the surroundings that create a fluctuation in mana, these anomalies would include rogue monsters from an open door, or the arrival of doors in the area being surveyed.

As of now the amount of S-3 aircraft being used right now are less than twenty and are being jointly used by the WDA, North American Union, and the European Confederation.

Power Generation

To create enough power for the aircraft to operate and also for the Automated Casting System (ACS) to run efficiently, the S-3 Echolyft contains a Magitech Core Engine that utilizes the mana in the surrounding area to cast compound spells that generate energy.

Propulsion

While still in the proccess of perfecting the integration of magitech and jet propulsion, the S-3 takes on a more rustic approach with two large propellers each located respectively on the aircraft's two wings.

Weapons & Armament

Given that the S-3 is not an aircraft designed for direct conflict, it does not have any generic weaponry. But the S-3 is able to perform what is called a mana flood, releasing the ACS's built of mana to directly effect any organic entities, forcing them into a brief catatonic state. Though the use of this flood of mana is listed as only a last resort measure as it may affect the crew of the S-3 as well.

Armor and defense

The S-3 has been modified with crystal plating to be able to withstand the force of most modern weaponry at least once before the hull breaking taking considerable damage.

Sensors

For the purpose of its main mission, the S-3's sensors go through the magitech ACS which would cast the Echoflare spell allowing it to cover a wide range around the aircraft to locate sources of mana to include open doors and rogue monsters.
