Silent Ghost Tribe

The Silent Ghost Tribe is a band of Golai located in the hills of the Red River Valley in the Kingdom of The Vale.

Structure

The Silent Ghost Tribe maintains a tribal structure, lead by a chieftain who is advised by tribal elders and other Golai of note. The tribe's spiritual advisor holds as much influence as the chieftain.

Territories

The Silent Ghost Tribe occupies a territory north of Dagger Rock and the Rel River, in the Daggerstone Hills. The tribe hunts in the hills and nearby plains, roughly a ten square mile (25.89 km2) area of influence.

Military

The Silent Ghost Tribe has a standing force of thirty-five warriors. Notable members include Catches Birds, Eyes of an Eagle, Red as the Earth (a red-skinned Planetouched Golai), and Like Snow, a white-skinned Golai.

Technological Level

The tribe utilizes wind power for milling and pumping water, but otherwise maintains a primitive level of technology.

Religion

The Silent Ghost Tribe are, by and large, worshipers of Deiter and Malelena. No religious belief is mandated or dictated, though most are agrarian in nature and connected to the land.

Agriculture & Industry

The Silent Ghost Tribe are subsistence farmers, maintaining small fields of crops and livestock in their village, supplemented through hunting and foraging.

Education

Most members of the tribe are functionally illiterate. Unlike contemporary Golai, the tribe has no taboo or prohibition on reading, just no desire or motivation to do so on a tribal level.
