Isca

The world of Isca is an old one. Settled and used by the Tutha people on the western edges of the Dragon’s Head Nebula. It was lightly populated before the Fabian Conquest saw the world fortified as a base of operations in the sector.     When the Fabian Dominion fell in the western half of the Settled Worlds, Isca rose as one of the many rallying points of the Fabian-Tutha kingdoms that rose up in the void of power. These kingdoms, along with Isca were defeated by Furse Refugees seeking new homes as they escaped the Skoll.     Isca was once the capital world of the Kingdom of Dumgarth. The Kingdom of Daxholm conquered the world of Isca when they brought about the fall of the Kingdom of Dumgarth, and where they ruled over the systems of Dumgarth largely in name, collecting taxes from the sales of the rare Tyne metals of the sector of space. Often ruled with an iron hand by appointed lords.     Isca has risen in rebellion many times against the kings of the Commonwealth of Drala since it's conquest. It has been the target of raids from systems within and without of the system. Petty lords of Dumgarth have often fought over the old capital as they try to reclaim the crown of the old kingdom.     In 9,449 King Oswald Gisking granted the lordship of the system and world to Peder Ulric Moon Frost, a Furse Warlord known throughout the Eriu Void. In the years since Lord Frost has taken command of Isca, the world has prospered, and increased the wealth of the sector as a whole. The Commonwealth has received increased revenue from the often troublesome system.

Ecosystem

Isca is like most worlds, and has a high range from cold snow peaks to hot deserts. Although much of the world is known for it's constant rains.
