Furia Sector

Type: Sector Population: 52 Billion Ruling House: Wild Ruler: Wallis Wild Culture: Furse / Old Blood History: Former Kingdom of Furia on the eastern edges of the Dragon’s Head Nebula. One of the Old Blood Furse Kingdoms of Old. The Great Savage Host arrived in Furia where they took on supplies for their invasion of the Kingdom of Umbria.   Furia took it’s name from Furse Space as many Furse who fled the creation of the Old Ruins by the Skoll. House Sutton Aegis became kings over the Furia Sector, and at the time of the Great Savage Host they were the weakest of the four Old Blood Kingdoms, and the second to fall to the Sons of Rothgar. When the Great Savage Host arrived in Drala, they came to Furia where they were welcomed by the king, and granted supplies before they left to conquer the Kingdom of Umbria.   After the conquest of the Kingdom of Umbria by the Great Savage Host, they returned to the Kingdom of Furia where they were attacked but defeated the forces of the the kingdom, and captured King Sutton before killing him in his own estate. After the fall of the kingdom many lordships came under the control of the Furse, where they still remain under the Commonwealth. Osgar ‘The Great’ made peace with the Great Savage Host, and the treaty of XXXXX granted the Kingdom of Furia to them to rule as they wished.   It was Osgar ‘The Great’ Gisking’s daughter, Wulfrun the Elder who finally conquered the kingdom of Furia, and brought them under the heel of the Kingdom of Daxholm before her son Wynnstan created the Commonwealth of Drala many years later.   Furia still holds large Furse populations that follow the Old Ways, but it is also a heavy hit area of the Commonwealth from raiders and pirates, mostly from Furse Space. Although Furia and Warwick both have roughly 52 billion people within their sectors, Furia has only four major systems, and System-lords while Warwick is known to have ten major systems and system-lords. The major systems of Furia are the Osgar System, Rustberry System, Stout System, and Dagport Systems.   House Wild were once known as the Lords of Furia, among other titles. Such as Edwyn ‘Half-King’ Wild who served five kings of the Commonwealth of Drala, and was foster father to King Humbert 'The Peaceable' Gisking. House Sutton, once kings and masters of the sector still hold the highlordship of Littlestone in the Stout System, and there are Suttons throughout the Sector both common born, and those with minor estates.
