History: One of the six major systems that make up the Daxholm Sector. The star system itself is made up of Fistgard, the minor world of Mistfall, the Star Fortress of Richmond Station, and the shipyards of Newton Yards. Fistgard is the largest population center in the system with more than six hundred million people, while the system as a whole as under seven hundred million. Counting Sub-systems, the System-lord of Fistgard has two billion subjects.
The Fistgard system as long defended the Daxholm Sector from raids, and attacks from the Furse raiders which largely come from the Fist Nebula. It has also long been used to defend the sector from the Kingsgate Sector, and to aid in defending and patrolling the Western Fabian Gateway Network.
The Star System of Fistgard as long been a major system within the Daxholm Sector, and the former kingdom of Daxholm, and served as one of the major military bases, and defenses. Even today it remains one of the top military bases in the Commonwealth of Drala, with the Commonwealth Forces academy on Fistgard seen as one of, if not the best training grounds of the Commonwealth Forces.
Fistgard has fallen under the direct command of the King of the Commonwealth, Oswald Gisking, as he acquires more, and more power against the nobles of the Commonwealth of Drala.
