Brighthold Sector

Type: Sector Population: 17 Billion Ruling House: Fairhart Ruler: Kira Fairhart Culture: Fabian Tutha / Old Blood History: Brighthold was lightly settled by the Tutha long before the Fabians Conquest of Drala. It was only ever lightly settled, and was an area of Tutha natural expansion.
After the Fabian Conquest, the Brighthold Sector remained lightly settled, but saw more trade, wealth, and infurstructure with the construction of several major worlds in the sector, as well as the North Western Fabian Gateway Network to help with trade, and increased settlement. The last run of the Fabian Gateway in the Brighthold Sector ends before the now ruined, destroyed, and inhabited system of XXXXX, although only legends, and rumor speak of what befell the system. To this day the Gateway through Brighthold allows for quick access and trade to the systems around the northern Void of Eriu.
After the Fabian Withdrawal from Drala, the Brighthold Sector became a backwater, and hotly contested battle zone between the major powers of the nebula. Although mostly in the hands of the Old Blood Kingdoms, such as the Kingdom of Umbria and the Kingdom of Warwick, it also fell at times to the Fabian Tutha of Kaledon, the Fabian Tutha of Walhaz, and the Tutha of Eriu. Several minor and petty kingdoms from within Brighthold rose and fell throughout the years.
The Brighthold Sector saw major Furse conquests with, and after the Great Savage Host. Many worlds fell to the Furse where local warlords rose to power, and from which several attacks in Warwick were launched. It was also subject to many Eriu raids as they sought to create a foothold into the Dragon’s Head Nebula from across the Void of Eriu, and the Fabian Tutha of Kaledon sought to claim the sector to increase their own power.
After the formation of the Commonwealth of Drala, the Brighthold Sector saw more peace than since it’s humble beginnings, but still suffered the fate of a contested sector of space. The people, worlds, and Systems of Brighthold are a mix of all the cultures which have called Drala home over the year, and have grown even more powerful than the height of their history under the Fabians.
The Brighthold System is made up of eight major Systems, and dozens of minor subsystems. The Systems of Brighthold, Serenity, Appleside, Mistgrade, Ashholm, Worgard, Rodhall, and Axe have risen through the the blood soaked history of the Sector to rise as the most powerful. Ashholm, Axe, Brighthold, and Worgard are all on the North Western Fabian Gateway Network, with the Worgard System being the furthest north and last major system before the Void of Eriu.
