The perpetual storms of Mount To'xasi (TO KA SI)

"I have never seen a storm like this. Magnificent and scary. What kind of gods have they made angry here?" Excerpt from the journal of Rhsari Tayen, a famous explorer, written while on his way to Asderon.
The Perpetual storms of Mount Toxasis are a meteorological phenomena located in eastern Mahador of natural origins but currently powered by an unknown magical force.

Manifestation

Asderani accounts from the first age does talk about the frequent storms that happened in the sea north of their lands. However, their description talk about sporadic storms forming in the early afternoon and dying by midnight. This is noting like the current storms over the sea. Since the eruption of Mount To'xasi in 2212 BC, the storms have been getting larger and larger, to the point were they do no longer not dissipate during the night. The surrounding lands are also affected by near constant gusts of wind, lighting, rain and hail. This has made the Asderani abandon the northern parts of their lands and move towards the south, away from the storms.   To anyone witness of these storms, it is clear that if they ever were a natural phenomena, they are now absolutely not. Lighting, either green or blue, strikes the water surface without stop, causing a constant deafening thunder. Hail and rain fall down over the sea and its surrounding lands. The area is battered with winds powerful enough to snap a palm tree. This had caused the jungles and savanna around the sea to be stripped of any large plants and now only grass is able to grow there.

Localization

The storms are located over the sea of storms, a large body of water near the eastern coast of Mahador separated from the Eastern ocean by three large islands. The storms center seems to be located directly over the remains of Mount To'xasi, a large volcano which almost completely disappeared after its last eruption during the Long Winter. The few witness accounts that the Scholars have about the mountain as it is currently describes the area as a large crater, filled with water. The clouds over the crater seem to spin around it, pushing outwards.
