The Act of 1275

Act of 1275

 

Preamble:   In the Year of our Lord 1275 After the Foundation (AF), we, the sovereigns and representatives of the Kingdom of Armorica, the Confederated Republics of Frontia, and the Most Serene Republic of Alodia, by mutual agreement and with the blessings of our peoples, do hereby declare our union under the banner of the As’hikan Empire. This Act, recognized as the inaugural establishment of our grand empire, heralds a new era of unity, prosperity, and shared destiny for our lands and peoples.   ---  

Article I: Formation of the Empire

  1. The territories and peoples of the Kingdom of Armorica, the Confederated Republics of Frontia, and the Most Serene Republic of Alodia shall be united under the governance of the As’hikan Empire. 2. This union shall be founded on mutual respect, cooperation, and the common goal of promoting the welfare and prosperity of all our citizens.   ---  

Article II: Governance and Autonomy

  1. Each member state shall retain its own structures of governance, including its monarchy, councils, and administrative bodies, operating in accordance with their own laws and traditions. 2. The As’hikan Empire shall establish an Imperial Council, composed of representatives from each member state, to coordinate policies, defense, and other matters of common interest. 3. The Emperor of As’hika shall be the supreme sovereign of the empire, advised by the Imperial Council, and shall act as the symbol of unity and authority for all member states.   ---  

Article III: Rights and Responsibilities

  1. All member states shall have equal rights and responsibilities within the empire. 2. Each state shall contribute to the defense of the empire, the maintenance of public order, and the promotion of trade and cultural exchange. 3. Citizens of each state shall enjoy freedom of movement, commerce, and residence within the empire.   ---  

Article IV: Defense and Security

  1. The As’hikan Empire shall maintain a unified military command to protect its territories and citizens from external threats. 2. Each member state shall provide troops, resources, and support for the defense of the empire as required.   ---  

Article V: Commerce and Economy

  1. The As’hikan Empire shall promote free trade and economic cooperation among its member states. 2. A common currency shall be established to facilitate trade and economic stability within the empire. 3. Joint economic initiatives and infrastructure projects shall be undertaken for the benefit of all member states.   ---  

Article VI: Culture and Education

  1. The As’hikan Empire shall encourage cultural exchanges and mutual respect among its diverse peoples. 2. Educational institutions shall be established and supported to promote learning, innovation, and the preservation of knowledge throughout the empire.   ---  

Article VII: Amendments and Revisions

  1. This Act may be amended or revised by mutual agreement of the member states, with the approval of the Imperial Council and the Emperor of As’hika.
