Catalogus Artium
Wondrous Item, very rare
This ancient tome, in four volumes, contains information on all known magical artifacts as well as where they are suspected (or known) to be located.
This book was split into four copies after the Cataclysm, with three of those copies sent each of the three great libraries (Strixhaven's Biblioplex, The Library of The Citadel, and the Library of the Cobalt Soul), thus each library has in its possession one copy of the Catalogus in order to prevent any one organization from possessing sole possession of the items it of which it contains knowledge.
The fourth copy of the book, however, was lost centuries ago, although archeologists and scholars continue to search for it.*
The book was split up in such a way as that each item cataloged only has partial information in each copy. In order to find all of the information on any item, all four copies of the book must be used which means one must gain entrance into each of the major libraries. However, with the fourth volume missing, it would be impossible to get an exact location of any of the artifacts listed.
*In the year 1499 CE on the 30th day of Duscar, the long lost fourth volume was found by Sylbella Stormblossom. (Session 0 - Sylbella)
