Downtime

Even Galdrax the Destroyer has hobbies they like to do when they're not waging war across the multiverse.

Time is all over the place (see Time in the Chromanexus). We refer to the gaps in time between our characters' adventures as "downtime" - periods of low activity where our characters are still doing things, but not necessarily on-screen.   During downtime, your character earns experience, gold, and Chromatite. This is also when you keep track of any upkeep expenses (housing, lifestyle, hirelings, etc.) your character has accrued. You'll log these in the Bulletin channel under the appropriate weekly thread - it's as simple as opening the bulletin, finding said week, setting your active character with !char then running !downtime. The command shows you exactly how much of what you earned and where - all you need to do now is update your character's experience and GP with the results, and you're done!
Still working on trying to automate the logging portion of the command. Again, the !downtime command doesn't actually log what you've earned - it only shows you what to log. One day I'll get around to finishing this, but no promises on delivery. If you'd like to help, join the Help Me Help Us thread in the General Forum!

For the RP addicts out there (like us), feel free to use your downtime results as a means of generating open or otherwise social threads. Had a natural 1 come up during your downtime? Have a thread featuring your forge exploding right as another player arrives in your shop or passes through town! Have fun with it!
