Effluviosuit

When delving below the Stratos, the air below becomes not only denser but more toxic. None who would delve so deep as the ocean would even live to see it. That is, without the Effluviosuit.

Effluvial Protection Suit

Commonly referred to as an E-Suit or even just "suit" for short, the Effluviosuit recycles fluids, relieves external air pressure, and insulates against the cold in the abyss. The suit itself is traditionally covered in area appropriate camouflage--akin to a ghillie mantle. The suit itself is comprised of three layers: inner cooling and circulation bilayer, anti-pressure bilayer, and insulation.
A) The inner cooling and circulation bilayers is a thin layer made up of reinforced disks of Pelagel--gel-like waters of Pelagia which always stay at around 70 degrees. When in contact with a warm body, the suit helps to take the heat and regulate the body temperature even during strenuous activity. This layers also takes bodily sweat and feeds it through several inner filters back up to the mask for humidified air and pouches for drinking water.
B) The ever-flexible chalyvite mesh enables unrestricted mobility while protecting against
the rising pressures at the Abyss and below. This is the thinnest layer.
C) The last layer of insulation in woven into the prior two layers and acts as a waterwicking windbreaker.

Other components

The Effluviosuit is fairly thin and thus easy to add onto. As such, most adventurers will strap on leather armor to aid in their protection, or will add a series of pouches, bandoleer, or the like in order to ensure their carrying capacity is maximized. The ingenuity of the suit, however, shines in two aspects: it's ability for the user to distinguish between sensations while wearing gloves, and to breath through the Abyss's effluvia.

Feeling with Automyel

Pronounced /ɑ-toʊ-meɪl/, it is an arcane metal that transfers sensations from one end to the holder, or between two holders. While impractical for personal, intimate use, The metal has been applied to some prosthetics and even some gloves. When used in large quantities and threaded with a person's neurons, the prosthetic is even capable of moving as if it were a normal and attached limb. Thus, so long as the metal comes into contact with the holder's skin, it can transfer

the sensations of what the holder is touching, even through a glove. If done through a prosthetic, the holder can manipulate the prosthetic to their will without fail.

Breathing through the Effluvia

It is not the increasing pressure that would kill a person as they delved into the Abyss. The lungs would adjust, surely, as the pressure does not increase substantially enough to outright harm a person. But the air does change under greater depths. Trapped in the twisting caverns with little to no airflow, the air stagnates and is crushed together in densities toxic to the lungs of all who enter without an Effluviosuit.   That is where the breathing mask comes in. Equipped with intakes that allow for air to flow from the outside to the inside, the mask filters the air through several components that help to catch and purify the air, for a time.
