Worldember 2021 pledge

I pledge to write at least 10000 words during December. Hopefully I will surrive this without severe burnout.

Goals

Wordcount goals

10k - the bare minimum for me considering my goal. But after last year, hopefully I will do it in a slighly more healthy manner. Hopefully I will remember that the 24th is my no writing day.

25k - the goal I actually aspire to acheive by the 31st. I feel after last year, I could push my goal to this. It feels decently acheivable even if a lot of what I will write will be thrown away come January.

50k - will probably not be achievaed by me but if it happens, it happens. However, I am not going to stress myself by aspiring to this goal.

Never put off till tommrow what you can do today.

Personal Goals

Self-care is important. I am going to not try pushing myself too far this year for the sake of not burning out. I burnt myself out last year thanks to not remembering this. So, I will take my time and try and balance out writing with (limited) socialising and my other hobbies.

Fill stuff out! You would be suprised how often I forget about my stubs. So, most of my worldember writing will be focused on expanding my summercamp prompts (which were mostly done in a hurry), or filling out at least some of mty a million stubs.

Move on. I am a massive perfectionist and therefore could spend hours on something. While this is sometimes a good thing, it often means I never finish a project or an article in this case. Therefore I am going to just spend WE just writing stuff and not trying too hard to edit it all.

Focus areas

Khre Nyijebish Strenklaz

The academic organisation whose alumni have far reaching contacts throughout the life of even the average Currean. They maintain the great Hwokh Tazmazsh-tsǔm in Enklu-Owsri , holder of the monarchy's deepest secrets. Yet, constant infighting means they never exploit all the information they have.

Daituranism

Cuerero primary faith has been fracturing apart for decades. And it is not getting better with arguments about every last verse of the Kaharuponda not it is translated.
