The founding of Skalan

Skalan was originally founded by the sharks as a coastal port to establish trade with the rest of Furope. It’s population increased steadily and quickly once more species from other lands began to settle as well. A statue of its founder was erected to commemorate the shark’s contributions. This statue was decorated with pearls and ornate stones, but 20 years after its creation it was cracked and broken. The pearls were used to create a handful of Skalan rings and the statue was replaced with a bronze recreation.
